An investigative report has revealed that Google funded the work of controversial researcher Dr. Peter Daszak, who carried out gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses that may well have been behind the current pandemic and then worked so hard to convince officials and the public that COVID-19 did not originate from a lab leak.
Although some might be tempted to dismiss this as a conspiracy theory, Tucker Carlson recently pointed out on Fox News that the research itself admits the connection: “Here’s the evidence: Peter Daszak admitted in print. We don’t need to speculate; it’s right there. Beginning in 2010, several of Daszak’s research papers explicitly acknowledged that they were funded by Google.”
Dr. Daszak and his charity, the EcoHealth Alliance, were recently exposed for having openly collaborated with the infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in its coronavirus research. The doctor and his charity have played a key role in discrediting the theory that the virus originated in a lab leak – something that Natural News has long been reporting on and evidence is increasingly supporting. Center for Disease Control and Prevention Director Robert Redfield has also said he believes the WIV was the source of COVID-19.
EcoHealth Alliance also funneled millions of taxpayer dollars from Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infection Diseases to the Chinese virology lab for its studies on bat-borne coronaviruses. Daszak also served on the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 investigation team.
A 2010 study on bat flaviviruses lists Daszak as an author and thanks Google.org for its funding; a similar study from 2014 gives a similar acknowledgement to Google.org. One paper authored by the EcoHealth Alliance that was funded by Google.org researched the “perceptions associated with transmission of pathogens with pandemic potential in highly exposed human populations at the animal-human interface.”
That paper, according to The National Pulse’s Natalie Winters, lays the groundwork for the idea that SARS-like animal-borne coronaviruses can be passed onto humans naturally though places like wet markets. The National Pulse also dug up detailed descriptions by Daszak of research he carried out alongside Chinese colleagues like “bat lady” Shi Zhengli and admits manipulating bat coronaviruses into “killer viruses.”
Daszak has also led conferences that were sponsored by the Chinese Communist Party’s scientific organizations and defended the CCP’s handling of the virus outbreak.
The series of exposés by the National Pulse led to Daszak’s removal from the Lancet’s COVID-19 commission. On the Commission’s webpage, a note under his entry reads that he was “recused from Commission work on the origins of the pandemic.”
It is not that surprising that Google had a hand in all of this, and it’s probably not a coincidence that Big Tech has long been censoring stories and people who go against the narrative that COVID-19 developed naturally and speak out about how it was likely a lab leak.
“Together, Google and Daszak worked to keep critical factual information from the public as nearly 4 million people from around the world died from the virus. It’s a horrible story and some day, perhaps soon, we will learn all of it,” Carlson added.
Time and time again, Google has demonstrated that they do not have the public’s best interests in mind, whether it’s via relentless censorship of the right across platforms like YouTube or the unfavorable placement and delisting of conservative-leaning sites in their search engine results. And with their funding of dangerous gain-of-function research and attempts to cover up its connection to the pandemic, it is clear that their treachery knows no bounds.
Fox News host Steve Hilton said: “They have been looking for evidence all over the world for the last year … and have found no evidence of [the natural origin theory]. That’s what Google has been pushing, especially YouTube, a division of Google,” added Hilton. “And now we know why – because they are implicated.”
