American actor James Woods had a meltdown on social media this week in response to an image of Palestinian supporters demonstrating against Israel.
The tweet below depicts five Middle Eastern-looking men holding the flag of Palestine, with one mock-stepping on a puppy draped in a small Israeli flag. This image triggered Woods to the point that he called for total destruction of the Gaza Strip.

“No ceasefire,” Woods, a conservative, tweeted in response to the photo. “No compromise. No forgiveness. #KillThemAll.”
It is the #KillThemAll part of Woods’ tweet that suggests he supports a complete and total genocide of Gaza, which prior to the war, was home to around 2.2 million Palestinian people.
(Related: Israel seems to be gunning for a takeover of the rich maritime natural gas reserves located off the coast of Gaza.)
The tweet by Woods seemingly calling for the complete annihilation of Gaza had its visibility “limited” by the X (formerly Twitter) platform because its contents “may violate X’s rules against Violent Speech.”
To be fair, the tweet Woods is criticizing also seemingly supports violence by depicting men in support of Palestine mock-kicking a small animal meant to represent Israel.
The escalating situation in the Middle East is anything but new, and yet it is new for many who were unaware of just how long the conflict has been taking place. Since its rebirth in 1948, Israel has largely been at odds with its neighbors, who used to live in the land now known as Israel before Israel was reestablished.
Ever since that reestablishment, those who were pushed out and into areas like Gaza and the West Bank have been calling for the annihilation of the Israeli “settlers” who came in and took over the land.
There is much debate over who really belongs on the land and who qualifies as “Semitic” in the eyes of God concerning the land prophecies. One side says the land belongs to Palestine while the other says it belongs to Israel.
Solving this conflict would seem to be the task of the ages, especially since the people calling themselves Israel have largely rejected the Prince of Peace and are still awaiting a different messiah to create peace in the land.
Everything taking place in the Middle East right now is paving the way for this different messiah to make his appearance when the time is right. Then, he will attempt to broker a peace deal between Israel and Palestine that will ultimately fail.
In the meantime, the war will continue escalating and the two “sides,” which some would argue are the same side if you pull back the curtain, will fight to the death for the land they both claim as theirs.
“No nation would be willing to tolerate world condemnation for genocidal acts unless you get something valuable in the end,” one of our own readers wrote about Israel’s plans to take over Gaza and capitalize on its resources, including the maritime natural gas and oil reserves located off the coast of Gaza.
“This was all planned and executed to achieve economic power in the energy sector.”
Another wrote that the Israeli plan all along has been to relocate or destroy all Palestinians in Gaza so the entire original boundary can be established as Israel.
