In a startling revelation on the “Health Ranger Report,” the Health Ranger Mike Adams has accused the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) of funding a massive propaganda campaign that influenced the training of major AI models.
According to Adams, this campaign that began in 2023 involved tens of billions of dollars and controlled nearly 4,300 media outlets and over 9,000 journalists worldwide. It pushing narratives that were pro-vaccine, opposed to President Donald Trump and aligned with globalist and woke ideologies. The primary goal was not to influence human audiences but to shape the data used by AI content crawlers, thereby training AI engines to repeat these narratives. (Related: USAID’s funding of over 6,000 journalists, 1,000 platforms worldwide raises concerns over independence and transparency.)
“The point was to create heavily slanted AI engines that repeat the CIA [Central Intelligence Agency] narratives that were a large part of the emphasis of that effort combined with extreme censorship of anybody who dared to tell the truth,” Adams said. “So, the censorship of alternative or independent media was combined with the massive funding through USAID of radical left-wing globalist narratives in order to affect the common crawl of Internet content that’s used to train AI engines.”
Adams asserted that the propaganda effort was orchestrated to create a vast reservoir of content that AI models from companies like Google, OpenAI and Microsoft could scrape and use for training. The alleged influence of this propaganda on AI models has significant implications.
Adams argued that as a result of this campaign, the training data used by these AI engines is now biased, leading to AI systems that echo the same narratives.
For instance, he pointed out that U.S. AI models are “trained on gender lunacy and transgenderism,” which he believes undermines their reasoning capabilities compared to Chinese AI models, which reject such narratives. This bias, he claims, is a result of the extreme censorship of alternative and independent media, which were silenced to maintain a singular, controlled narrative.
The allegations have sparked a heated debate, with some tech analysts and lawmakers pushing back against the use of Chinese AI models like DeepSeek, which has gained popularity for its reasoning capabilities. However, Adams countered that the concern over DeepSeek is misplaced, as it is a free, open-source model that cannot spy on users. He instead directs criticism at U.S. AI models like OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which he claims are CIA fronts designed to spy on users and push government narratives.
In response to the perceived dominance of biased AI models, Adams and his team are set to release Enoch AI on March 1, 2025. Enoch, available for free download at Brighteon.ai, is described as an AI engine trained on “reality-based information” and free from the influence of CIA and globalist narratives.
The engine is designed to be used offline, ensuring user privacy and freedom from surveillance. Adams encouraged content creators, writers and researchers to use Enoch to produce truthful and independent content, countering the narratives pushed by mainstream media and government agencies.
The allegations of USAID-funded propaganda influencing AI training data raise critical questions about the integrity and objectivity of AI models. If true, these claims suggest a significant manipulation of the information ecosystem, with far-reaching consequences for public opinion, policy and technology.
